Antique July 1905 Seth Thomas Adamantine Clock RESTORED
This phenomenal Seth Thomas model No. 25 Adamantine clock has been completely restored to its original factory condition! This fine timepiece dates to July 1905 it just turned 112 years old!
And features beautiful gold ornaments and lustrous green, white, and black Adamantine. The case has been completely disassembled and restored using Kenosha Clocks' special five step Adamantine Restoration Process. Nothing has been refinished and everything retains its original factory finish. The ornamentation still shows its gorgeous original gold leaf paint, which has been carefully cleaned. The dial is a replacement made by myself, and the heavy beveled glass is original and nearly perfect.The hands have been re-blued (they were in very poor condition) and the bezel closes firmly. The 8 Day Seth Thomas #89C, or 4 1/2, movement was resurrected through a complete overhaul. It was disassembled, cleaned very thoroughly, reassembled, oiled, and tested for many weeks to ensure perfect accuracy and operation.
It strikes the half hours on a cup bell and the hours on a deep, resonant cathedral gong. This clock was found in flood damaged condition and has been successfully restored to its original glory. It also comes with its original key which was found inside and an accurate replacement key (the original key is no longer suitable to wind the clock, but is still included as a part of the clock's history).
