Antique 1872 Large Seth Thomas & Sons Goddess Demeter Mantel Clock. Demeter was the Harvest Goddess in ancient times. There are no broken or missing parts and is completely original with the exception of the bell. The dial face is porcelain and the dial glass is beveled with no cracks or chips. The servicing was completed by The Clock Barn, Brookfield Ma... It included 3 new bushings, cleaned, oiled... It rings on the 1/2 hour and hour. It is an 8 day clock. Comes with original key and pendulum. It does have patina and I believe the metal is Spelter with a bronze finish. Measures: 18 inches high x 16 inches long x 7 1/2 inches deep.
