Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Long drop Oak Schoolhouse Office Regulator 1891
The finish appears original as well as the hands and glass. The Seth Thomas marked movement is running and keeping great time. It is a time only (no strike) clock.
This style is typical of those used in schools since there was no strike to distract students. The clock comes with an old key and what is possibly the original pendulum. The date on the back indicates it was made in 1891.
It has been well taken care of and has been completely disassembled and serviced before listing. It measures 16 inches wide by 31 inches high.
