This is an Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine 4 column mantle clock built in about 1905, aprox. 113 yrs old in GREAT ORIGINAL CONDITION.
The movement has been ultrasonically cleaned and it's been oiled using the best synthetic clock oil. I ran it 6 days and it was off about 1 min. It chimes on the hr.
(wire gong chime) and the 1/2hr (brass bell chime). I cleaned the case up just a bit. Basically just a good dusting, (no chemicals).
The gold inlay on the front is completely in tact. Only 2 flaws that I see are, the original timing screw is broken (very common on clocks over 100yrs old) but it's not a problem as the timing is controlled with an adjustable pendulum bob. It also has a hairline crack in the far column on the left side of the pic's This clock is in exceptionally good condition for it's age and not having been restored.TIMING WILL PROBABLY NEED ADJ.
