Antique SETH THOMAS Adamantine ART DECO Mantle Clock MERCURY HEAD sides BEAUTY
Late 1800's Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantle Clock with Art Deco Mercury head on each side. The green marbled finish is a faux marble and appears to be in very good condition. The body of the clock is black with the faux green accenting as shown in photos.
The decorative hardware is original and has great patina to it. The front legs are quite ornate.
The face shows some discoloration and is clearly visible in photos. It is marked on the face MADE BY SETH THOMAS CLOCK CO.
I have shown pictures of the back of the clock as well as the inside. The movement inside is also marked Seth Thomas. It runs, tick tock tick tock but It does not seem to keep proper time- it keeps running and it dings on the half hour and dongs on the hour but not 12 dongs at 12:00 for example. It measures from foot to foot 15" wide 6 1/2" deep 10 tall. Please allow pictures to guide you............................ MY TERMS: PLEASE PAY PROMPTLY.
