Antique Seth Thomas Bell Mantle Clock
Please consider this antique Seth Thomas 8 day mantle clock with the ding dong bell chimes. The clock is 14 inches wide, 11 and 1/2 inches tall and 7 inches deep. The Seth Thomas movement has been disassembled, cleaned and tested for two weeks to verify good timekeeping and correct chime process. The clock strikes a bell once at the half hour and then counts the number of the hour using a two tone set of bells,, great sound. The wood case is solid and covered in the the adamantine finish which is in great condition.
The dial is celluloid and in good shape, carries the Seth Thomas name and the words Ding Dong Strike. The brass bezel over the dial works correctly and has good glass. There is a good Seth Thomas instruction label inside the rear door. Brass feet are in good condition. The pendulum appears to be original to the clock while the key is a correct newer replacement.
