Antique Seth Thomas Crystal Regulator Mantel Clock
Antique Seth Thomas Crystal Regulator 8 day mantel, or shelf clock. It features a gong strike and imitation mercury pendulum.
It is in overall very good condition. All four sides have beveled glass with no chips, or breaks, and doors on the front and back. The floral porcelain dial has a small hairline crack that is difficult to see running from 10 to 12 on the dial.
Clock strikes correctly on the hour, but does not strike correctly on the half hour. It strikes about 5 minutes before the half hour, and strikes one more time 5 minutes before the hour, so it will need to be serviced. It measures 11.5" Tall x 7 1/8" Wide x 5 3/4 Deep. The movement is marked ST 48N and made in America U.
