ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS DOUBLE WOMAN COLUMN MANTLE COLCK MARBLE WithKEY WORKING COND
I have a Seth Thomas double column mantle clock. This was my Grandmother's clock.
Has been in her bedroom since it was handed down from her Mother. I don't know much about these clocks.
I was told not to clean or restore it unless I knew what I was doing so not to ruin it. Pics will have dust or dirt on some parts due to not cleaning it. Manufactured in the United States of America. It is from what I read a double column & also has 2 fine looking large breasted woman in between the columns. 2 lion heads on the ends. Has a greenish marble finish on top. The back does have a few old tape marks, must have been to help hold backing on even though it stays on with out it. A bell ding at the 1/2 hr. And a gong on the hour. I have the original key. I also have video of the ding and gong also. The movement is a 89C. I was told it is a Adamantine & 8 day clock by a friend but not sure. Other than that I don't know much else. We actually used this clock for a few months then my Wife said she could not sleep due to the ticking! Has been stored in closet ever since, Good Luck! Package will be heavy due to packing.
