This clock retains its original factory finish, walnut cabinet is in excellent condition, it is free of cracks breaks and missing trim. The gold silkscreen painted glass is also in very good condition with little wear for a clock that is 130 years old. This clock also features its original "eclipse" stamped pendulum. This clock also has its original label on the inside backside. Another great feature of this clock is the Seth Thomas 8 day Lyre movement. The movement is dirty it is not in running condition, the strike is hanging up as well. The gong base also has the Seth Thomas name stamped on the base also. It is missing the gong wire. This clock measures 26 1/2 inches in height by 14 1/2 inches in width. Hand painted Seth Thomas dial also measures 5 inches in diameter. The hand painted Seth Thomas dial also measures 6 inches in diameter. There is a alarm mechanism that is located inside the door toward the bottom of the clock.
