Antique Seth Thomas Thomaston OG Ogee Weight Driven Wall Shelf Clock Very Nice
Wood case with veneered finish has been revarnished in the past & looks very nice with a glossy finish! There are a few chips & cracks to veneer but nothing very noticeable. 30 hour weight driven movement & is in good working condition The back board is split which is a pretty normal occurance. Which is so nice it must be a replacement? Obviously clock has some age scratches & general show of wear. Glass panes all look good with no visible chips or cracks. Painted black pane doesn't really show any wear.
Hinges & latch are intact. Key & pendulum weight are included & I believe original. Ropes to hold weights look older but hooks that hold weights look newer. Paper label is in pretty good condition still but shows wear mostly along outside edges where weights would have rubbed. 25" high x 15" wide x 4 1/2 deep in maximum dimensions.
Clock may be a bit dusty still overall. Please check my other listings for more great clocks. I combine packing when possible.
