Antique Seth Thomas Westminster Mantle Clock

  

Offering a 8 day Seth Thomas mantle clock with the Westminster chimes. The clock is 21 and 1/2 inches wide, 9 and 1/2 inches tall and 6 and 1/2 inches deep. The clock movement has been serviced and tested so is in good operating condition for both time and chime functions. The movement is marked with the Seth Thomas symbol and model 124.

The clock plays the Westminster melody at each quarter hour and then counts the number of the hour on the hour. The wood case has the original finish and is in good condition. The dial is metal and has the raised brass numbers. Both the front bezel and the rear door operate correctly. The glass over the dial is good.

There is the original Seth Thomas instruction sheet inside the rear door and there is a Seth Thomas label on the bottom that says No. The pendulum appears to be original to the clock while the key is a newer correct replacement.
