Antique Seth Thomas Westminster Mantle Clock
Offering a antique Seth Thomas 8 day mantle clock with the Westminster chimes. The clock is 20 inches wide, 9 and 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches deep. The clock movement is the model 124 and is in good operating condition. The movement was quite clean when received so it was inspected and tested for two weeks to verify good timekeeping and chiming. The clock plays the Westminster melody at each quarter hour and then also counts the number of the hour on the hour.
The wood case has the original finish and is in good condition. The dial is metal and has the raised brass numbers.The glass over the dial is beveled and in good shape. Both the front brass bezel and the rear door operate correctly. Good original instruction card inside the rear door.
