UPDATE: I have been informed that this is a home made zig zag clock. Up for sale is this very unique clock. It uses a Seth Thomas movement and was created/modified serve a very specific purpose and I have no idea what that was. There is an alarm bell on the interior, and there is a hole and perhaps a contact at every minute in the case so perhaps it was an hourly or multiple time an hour function, maybe it was hooked up to a recording device to record, I have nothing but baseless guesses. It does have a hand scripted name, A Zuiz 102 E 37 St NY is the best I can make it out. It's a fairly crude case, made for function not to turn heads and it shows a fair amount of wear. Measures about 18 5/8" x 12", a little over 13 if you include the switch on the side which is broken. Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition.
