Old Antique SETH THOMAS 8 Day Spring Wooden Shelf Mantle CLOCK with Key & Pendulum
Presented for your consideration is this 1800s antique shelf or mantle clock. The clock is a 8 day spring clock made by Seth Thomas. It has a beautiful, dark wooden case with columns on each side of the dial door. At the bottom of the clock is a small 2 in diameter glass dial to view the pendulum through. The door over the dial is divided into 2 different sections, the top is glass to view the dial through and the bottom is a small rectangular mirror.
The mirror has a clear reflection. The dial of the clock is metal with black Roman numerals against a white background. On the interior back wall is the original label that states this is a Seth Thomas 8 Day spring clock. Comes with a key and pendulum. This neat clock would make a great addition to any antique or vintage clock collection! The clock is not currently running. There is some wear on the dial, mainly around the winding holes. Some of the finish has worn off of the pillars and there is some roughness along the top right side edge. Some of the veneer has chipped off of the pillar bases and along the top edge. Light wear spots are on the mirror.Typical wear from age and use. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details. Measures 10 1/2" wide, 4 1/2" deep and 16 tall.
