Make sure you follow us as we are always adding items daily! For your consideration we have a Seth Thomas antique clock movement. It is either a 15 day or 30 day time only with two winding springs for the time. It is a deadbeat escapement.
It has a suspension spring but it may need to be replaced. There is power to the escapement.It does have a hand nut. The Geneva stops are in place. It has it's original cast iron mounting frame on the back.
The bushings have been redone. There is a second bit. The center to center of the second bit to the hand arbor is approximately 2-1/4 inch.
The center to center distance between the winding arbor and the hand arbor is approximately 2-3/8 inches. The measurement between the winding arbors approximately 3-11/16 inches.The distance between plates is 1-1/2 inches. The movement plates and frame are keystone shaped.
The plates are about 5- 1/16 across the bottom and 4-7/16 on the top. The approximate length of the plate is 7-3/4.
Please refer to pictures for more information. Movements are for repair or parts. They may need to be overhauled or just a clean and oil. It may need springs and/or bushings. Other questions like missing hands, dials, can be discerned from the pictures if not stated in the description. If you are just trying to fix a watch or clock without knowledge of how to do so, we suggest that you seek out professional help. To do it on your own risks permanent damage to your clock or watch.This can lead to be an expensive proposition if you to repair work with out that knowledge. In most cases, we put our items next to the ruler to give you a sense of size not to give you a measurement.
