Seth Thomas Concord City Series Mantle Shelf Clock
Seth Thomas Concord City Series Mantle Shelf Clock. Beautiful Seth Thomas City Series Clock named for the town of Concord. A beautiful Mahogany case that is in excellent condition with original finish and nice warm patina. Gorgeous carved décor all over this clock.
There are carved acorn finials that adorn both sides and Greek looking carved finials dropping from the top. An arched top with a rosette in the middle, beautiful carved sides leading up to the arch and little carved details in between. Original painted dial with Roman numerals that is in wonderful condition and bears the ST logo.
The door has reversed gold painting of a pond with fish; however, someone long ago did try to clean it and cleaned some of it off. Original nickel accents with nice original damaskeen decorated pendulum bob. Circa December 1885 See photos of the date code on back. Dimensions are Height 22, Width 12.5, Depth 4, and Weight 8 lbs.
