Seth Thomas Cottage D slant base ca. All original and supurb condition for it's age. Clock has been completely disabled and cleaned. Movement has been cleaned and oiled.
Bench tested for 48 hours and installed tested for 48 hours. Bottom glass had one small spot which has been touched up.Slight chipping of veneer on base, but overall condition is near excellent for it's age. All original hardware including screws and cut nails are reinstalled. Original label is complete and has been coated with a deacidification archival spray.
Painted sidess show natural wear. Brass has been coated with brass laquer.
Wood has been moisturized before rebuilding. I do not guarantee movement unless it has been through a complete rebuild.
I do not restore my clocks unless requested. I prefer to recondition them in their natural state.
