Seth Thomas Sons No-8028 spelter figural mantle clock serviced new mainsprings. This clock is from my personal collection. Appx 145 years old, Seth Thomas & Sons clock, high end round movement, made to compete with French mantle clocks, extremely reliable. I think model #8028 - Circa 1876. Incredible detail Featuring a Classical Robed Goddess sitting on a Throne with a Flute and Music Book Open on Her Lap.
Egyptian Revival Mask Adorns Each Side Above Stylized Winged Griffins with Large Paw Feet. Porcelain Dial and extra thick beveled glass in bezel, excellent Condition. I got the movement serviced, and new Time & Strike side mainsprings installed, but recently noticed that the clock is not striking properly, but it is running on the time side. Original pendulum, genuine hands, ST Sons & Co signed dial. This is a large clock, approximately 17-1/4" Tall x 13-1/2" Wide.
