Vintage 1930s SETH THOMAS SHIPS BELL Mantel Clock 7 Jewel 8 day semi-working
This is a beautiful, vintage, 1930's era Seth Thomas Ships Bell Clock. Features seven jewels and 8 day running. Bells strike on the hour and half hour. Dings twice for 1:00, Dings 4 times at 2:00, 6 times at 3:00, etc.
13 3/4" x 3 3/4". 5 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" deep. Runs slow and sometimes not at all.
Bells do not always represent the correct hour and seem random. Not sure what is wrong with it. Base has some significant wear, where the bezel is removed to wind the clock.
