The clock works and keeps time (though it might need to be adjusted for accuracy). However, when you first "snap" the post to get it started it needs a couple of kicks before it stays in motion. If you're going to depend on it for time you'll probably want to swap it out for a newer quartz movement. As you can see from the 1967 catalog page the clock was designed to hang either vertically or horizontally at the owner's preference. However, there is no hanging mechanism currently installed on the interior of the frame.
The frame measures 20" x 9.5" (approximate). On the whole this clock is in excellent vintage condition, though it does have a couple compression dents (seen in detail photos).
As you can see on the back view the movement is very clean and has never suffered the wrath of a leaky battery or any other issues of corrosion so often seen with vintage battery operated movements. The face has a patina on the brass that can be polished of at the new owner's discretion.
