It features a quality Seth Thomas #120J time and strike, keywind, pendulum driven movement. We wound it up and tested it for a few days. It may stop and need to be re started or it may continue to run fine. The nicely styled mahogany case is still in the original finish. It is in very good, well kept condition and beautiful in appearance, with a few nicks here and there and appropriate aging.
It measures 29" high x 10" wide x 4 ½ deep. The original silvered dial and brass bezel assembly is in nice shape. The dial shows some age, light staining and a couple of minor scratches around the outside edge, etc. But it would be hard to find one this old in any better condition. It also has the scarce to find, famous'ST' hands and the origianl 1920's Seth Thomas eagle.
The original picture tablets are in good condition as well. They are obviously aged with some neat paint crackling and minor loss. This clock also comes complete with the original pendulum and a key that fits. This helps ensure that the new owner will have a satisfying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem. All sales are final (with the exception noted below). It is nearly impossible to find one in "mint" condition. If a clock has damage from misuse, it will be noted. If a clock is running properly when it arrives, that is about the best we can do.All sales for this type of item are final.
