AMAZING DECO WHITE SETH THOMAS CATALIN 1930s CANADA TRULY RARE

  
Today I have broken out another of my nicer Catalins.. A Truly RARE example in PURE WHITE with swirls of Clear... As seen in the last 2 photos. This clock had just been restored to a Brilliant Bright White when I acquired it 13 years ago.. You can see the Catalin effect already, after only a decade. A far cry from the drab browns of regular phenolic "Bakelite" and the dark toned Seth Catalins that were produced in the US.. This color was Stunning in it's day... A Pure White that truly exemplified the Seth Thomas Catalin Alarm Clock's status as a true Deco work of art.. The clock is free of chips, with no damage present , and like all my Catalins except 2, It runs and still keeps perfect time, when I rotate one out to display. I love these clocks for their individual character..

No 2 are exactly alike, as the possible combination of colors and patterns during production are endless. Needed to be re-wound daily at bedtime, or upon rising..
