Antique SETH THOMAS 16 Wooden Shelf Clock 1907F Reverse Painted Rose WORKS! Speaking of the rose - I think this is reverse painted. This clock measures 16.25" tall by 10.5" across. The dial isn't marked with a brand name and only has Manufactured In The United States of America at the top. On the inside, it has a paper backing for Seth Thomas and says Eight-Day Spring Clocks.

On the back board of the clock, it's marked with 1907F. I'm not sure if this a year or a code number. Age is unknown but I'm thinking it's from the 1890's to 1900's era. I does dings on the full hour but the count is off. What I mean by that is when I advanced the time to 11:00 - it dinged 3 times.

When I moved it to 12:00, it dinged 4 times, 1:00 and it dinged 5 times. I don't normally resell clocks so my experience with them is pretty limited but I would think this is an easy fix by simply resetting the hands to the correct position to get the correct dings corrected to the time. A key is included but it's not original to this clock.
