UP FOR SALE ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS "ADAMANTINE" MANTEL CLOCK. THIS CLOCK WAS MADE IN FEBRUARY OF 1893 BY SETH THOMAS CLOCK CO. IT HAS ORIGINAL SETH THOMAS 8 DAY MOVEMENT.
THE PAPER DIAL AND A PENDULUM BOB HAVE BEEN REPLACED. CLOCK BODY HAS ORIGINAL CELLULOID FINISH.
THERE ARE SOME CRACKS AND DENTS SCATTERED AROUND, WHICH IS VERY COMMON FOR THIS TYPE OF FINISH. IT'S IN GOOD SHAPE FOR ITS AGE. THE CLOCK IS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
IT'S ANNOUNCING ONE GONG FOR HALF HOUR AND COUNTS NUMBER OF HOURS 1 GONG FOR 1:00, 2 GONGS FOR. APPROPRIATE DOUBLE-END KEY IS INCLUDED. THE SIZE APPROXIMATELY: 16 3/4" x 12 1/2" x 7.
