Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantle Clock c. 1896 8 Day Time & Strike. This clock has been restored to its near original condition. The clock has been disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and tested. It is keeping very good time.
The adamantine finish has been polished with a high-quality paste wax to return it to its original shine. The finish is in good condition considering that it is 121 years old! The brass bezel, glass, and hands all appear original as well as the dial.
The key is a replacement. It is an eight-day time and strike, counting the hours and the half-hour on a nice cathedral gong. The movement is the Seth Thomas "hip style" and is in good condition. It includes a pendulum bob.
