Antique Seth Thomas "Beehive" Round Top Time & Strike Mantle Clock Serviced. View My Other Items For Sale. This nice old clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston, Conn. USA during the 1920's.
This model features a signed Seth Thomas #120 movement that has been serviced and is in good running condition, keeping time and gonging properly. I will send the very easy instructions for re-installing which basically requires putting the post through the hole in the case bottom and fastening the nut from underneath. It has the nice old signed Seth Thomas silvered dial that is nice looking (with a few age spots that can be seen in the pictures) and solid brass bezel assembly that is in very good condition.The case is still in the original finish so will appear authentically, yet gently, aged. This clock has been very well taken care of over the years. The case measurements are 8 ¼" wide x 9 ½" high x 6 deep. This clock comes complete with a key and original pendulum.
This helps ensure that the new owner will have a satisfying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem. All sales are final, so please be sure that you will be happy by reviewing the pictures and descriptions that we provide. We honestly want you to be happy.It is nearly impossible to find one in "mint" condition. If a clock has damage from misuse, it will be noted. Once in awhile we do offer other types of antiques and collectibles for sale, but mainly clocks are what we're about. We are a very small, family run enterprise.. Ben handles all repairs in house.
He has been restoring clocks since 1976, and a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors since 1978. Jen and Lana handle all of the pictures, listings, marketing and design, as well as some of the restoration work. We definitely don't want any bad feedbacks, so we try to describe everything exactly as it is and if we do something wrong, we will make it right. We do not use our computers on Sunday, the Lord's day, but will answer any emails Monday through Saturday and although we do not expect any problems, we will do whatever we can to resolve any issues.
