Early Antique Seth Thomas Plymouth Hollow Cottage Clock
Up for sale is this Early Antique Seth Thomas Plymouth Hollow Cottage Clock. When I tried to test the replacement key and wind the mainspring it uncoiled on me (yes it hurts), Im not sure that the spring is bad, it may be the mechanism that holds it tight.
It has a myriad of other issues, its had previous restoration and Im not sure if the hands or bezel door (doesnt close tight) are original. Paper dial is replaced, hands are not attached. Case has some splits, some previous repair and a crack on one side. As terrible as all that sounds its a unique form and setup with the alarm.
