Exceptional Antique Seth Thomas 8-Day Time and Strike Adamantine Mantel Clock Circa 1900 Working Well. This is a super nice antique Seth Thomas 8-day time and strike Adamantine mantel clock.

It features a black onyx finish with lovely, embossed scrollwork, two half columns, brass lion's head handles and ornate brass feet. It has beautiful green marbleized Adamantine colors. It measures 12 1/2" wide including the feet, 7" deep and 11 3/8 tall. The marked porcelain dial is in perfect condition framed by a fancy brass bezel and door frame, both also in great condition. It is stamped on the bottom with the date code "0091 A" which stands for Jan.

It runs well and chimes at the top of the hour with the correct number of hours and once at the bottom of the hour. The condition overall is excellent. The Adamantine finish is near perfect with a couple of very small chips on the back edge of the top. There are a few tiny pin head size nicks in the black finish only noticeable on close inspection. It has the original partial instruction label on the back.

The original Seth Thomas marked key is included. The original brass movement in great condition has the Seth Thomas logo.
