1363 Emperor Strike and Chime Mantel Clock with Hermle 2114 Quartz Movement. This is in excellent condition, no damage or wear. It keeps excellent time and all controls and chimes work as when new. It comes from a smoke free home. Includes 3-page instructions for Hermle 2114. From the original catalog: This hardwood case is finished in red mahogany and accented with a genuine inlaid marquetry of ebony, beech, and elm.
The large, metal Roman numeral dial is covered by a solid brass opening bezel and glass crystal. The quartz movement is a dual chime with either the popular Westminster melody, played progressively every 15 minutes along with the hour count, or the historical Bim-Bam hour and half-hour selection. Additional features include strike and chime on the hour only and convenient personalized night shut-off with either a volume reduction or a total silent feature during the 8 hour period. Runs on two "C" batteries, not included. H 12" W 17" D 4.
