Seth Thomas Vintage Star burst /Sun burst Clock mid century teak 1960s retro
A classic mid century sunburst clock by the scottish clock maker Seth Thomas. We have owned the clock for perhaps 10 years but it has been boxed for the last 3 years. The mechanism may need attention/adjustment as the clock ticks for a while and then stops.
However it will start again if the hands are gently nudged. The wooden'spokes' or'rays' are detachable and simply slot on to metal dowels.
The wooden elements are in very good condition although a small number have splits and in one case missing pieces. However they can be reversed so that the good side is showing. There are some marks to the face specifically near the 7 numeral and also between 10 and 11.
