This is the Southbury model. Has a beautiful light colored Art Deco look case on it. Most of the paper label is still on the base plate of the clock.
Great concave glass in the bezel over the face of the clock. The gold colored bezel is securely attached to the case.No cracking or blistering to the glass. Raised gold colored numbering done on a metal plate with the wood face background Has Seth Thomas noted just below the middle wind arbor. The hands match and look appropriate to the clock. The paper label is still attached to the back door. The wood case is all there.
The finish on the case is in very nice shape. Some minor chipping to the finish and wood along the edges. Some scratching to the finish and wood case on the top. The rear door is still securely attached to the case by the hinges. The bezel is securely attached to the case.Nice looking brass movement on this clock. The Seth Thomas logo is on the back plate at top left. The movement number 124 and is engraved into the right leg of the back plate.
Nice sound on this clock with the five rods and hammers. Does the Westminster Chimes at right cadence (last note can hang up a little on occasion), does the striking of the hours a little slow, so needs some adjustment.
Gave the rear plate pivots and bushings a cleaning and oiling. The three springs feel sound when keyed. The clock comes with a vintage wind key and the pendulum bob that came with it. He clock is in running, and striking condition. The clock stands 9.25" tall, by 15.5" across, by 6.25 wide.
The clock face is 5.5 across. Paper label is still on the inside of the door for running instructions as well. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
