Antique Seth Thomas 1893 Butternut Adamantine 8-day Mantle Clock Cleaned Working
A beautiful Seth Thomas 8-day mantle clock with smooth Butternut Adamantine finish. Manufactured in 1893 as stamped on the bottom.
The movement was cleaned and lubricated by a clock collector; it runs and chimes on time. Has the original lion heads on ends and brass feet, and original clock face with aging patina.
The glass and bezel are missing. The adamantine has three 3/8 spots on the top that look as if they were melted but they are hardly noticeable when looking at the clock from the front. A 2-sized key is included although the speed adjuster is not working.The key is from Germany, not original with clock. The pendulum is also not original but is adjustable for the clock speed.
