Antique Seth Thomas Arch Form Inlaid Pendulum Mantle Shelf Clock with Brass Feet

  
A super fine antique Seth Thomas inlaid mantle - shelf clock with brass feet all original. It measures 13 1/2" high by 9" wide and 5" deep at the base; at the body 7 1/2 wide by 4 1/4" deep at the body.

Glass bezel is clear with one hinge and a pressure latch to lock. The back is a solid piece of wood held in by a slot at the bottom and a small brass lever at the top that holds it in place. It has a deep rich beaver fur color tone and delicate inlay. The condition is very good with some scuffs to wood body see pics. The gears are all solid brass and it is not working.

I believe one of the springs is wound too tight. A fine clock from an old NJ estate. I spoke to a clock shop and they said the clock just needs to be cleaned and serviced in order to fix the spring. I lowered the price for a quick sale. The case is beautiful; all original.
