For Sale is our 1948 Sharon-7W Seth Thomas Chiming Steeple Cathedral Mantle / Mantel eight day wind-up clock with key and pendulum. The clock has a soothing Tick-Tock, half hour chime / hourly salutes (see the YouTube link below). The Seth Thomas "Sharon 7-W" maple case has been carefully cleaned while maintaining a very attractive stately and aged look. The door operates as designed. The case is Maple hardwood with beautiful grain patterns, original finials, and trim around the base. Notice the flowers on the face and door glass designs are original and have good color. The tag on the backside is faded and unreadable--we have directions that we will include. The movement has the correct Seth Thomas marks. It is an A200-018 movement date stamped September 1948 "09-48". The face has been cleaned, it has minor scuffs from normal usage. The pendulum bob/weight is brass covered and original with the clock; it has the original adjustment acorn on the bottom to regulate the clock. This clock is 9 inches wide, 14 inches tall, 5 inches deep and the face is 6 inches in diameter. The "Sharon 7W" clock keeps time very well and has a very pleasant chime. We really appreciate the Seth Thomas mechanical clocks for the workmanship and details. This clock is heavy and well built with quality US made materials. Refurbished antique clocks are excellent wedding, holiday, graduation, anniversary, retirement, and birthday gifts. We then fill the box with foam peanuts and nestle the antique clock in the middle.

We do the following to all of our clocks. Disassemble the entire clock and movement completely.

Install new US made parts on the movement if needed (main springs and pendulum suspension rods). Bush all worn pivot holes with high quality Bergeon bronze bushings as needed.

Clean the entire movement using environment friendly cleaners. Clean the original dial careful not to alter its original condition.

Clean bezel, parts and chime rods by hand. Reassemble the clock, oil and lube in the proper places. Adjust chime and strike hammer sequence properly to assure smooth and even strikes.
