SETH THOMAS ANTIQUE SHIPS BELL6 IN DIALCIRCA 1887. The clock is in working condition and is ticking away on my wall as I type.

This wonderful piece of maritime history has a rich tone to call out the ships bells for a standard 4 hour watch. I have found the clock listed on a Seth Thomas site as being made in 1885 but understand that this model with the rare strike lever was made in 1887. To confuse you even more, there is a very clear store sticker from Louis Weule Company, California St. San Francisco showing a Sale / Resale?

Date of May 7, 1917. The clock has an original 6" face, and a 7" hinged bezel.

The face is engraved roman numerals and the glass is perfect. The original bell has been bench polished. If I do the clock, I will update the photos.
