Here is a very fine example of an Antique Seth Thomas Chime Clock No. 266 that was produced in the year of 1914. Yes it is 107 Year's old!

The dial show's a Retailer/Jeweler, Hardy & Hayes, Pittsburg PA. They were located at 501 Grant St. # 301, and 1 Oxford Center Pittsburgh, PA. This location is still in Business! They were Founded in 1887! Original is only once, you can't replace it! The True Value in anything it's Originality! The Original finish on the Mahogany wood case is in great condition as the pictures will show. Fine rubbed wood grains along with it's manicured age give's this clock great character that is pleasing to the eye. Both movement's in this fine Sonora chime are also Original to the Clock. This clock has a strong, smooth running, fine tuned and oiled 89 AG movement that has been keeping excellent time for the past month along with a fine running 104 Sonora movement that is functioning properly. All the best features are on this model # 266 Sonora Chime Clock! Huge nearly mint 8-inch silvered dial. Has several features, 3 winding holes, one for the Sonora chimes, one for the Time side, and the last for the Hour and Half hour chime. It has Dark, Crisp, Arabic numbers can be clearly seen from a distance, covered by a huge brass bezel and thick beveled door glass. Blue steel spade shaped hour and minute hands still adorn their original finish. Shaded marqueterie (inlay) at the top and bottom of the dial, plus below the dial with streamers outlining the entire front of the case and along the front and sides of the base.

Huge rectangular feet levitate at each corner bearing their original finish also. There are No scratches or chips on the original convex front beveled door glass!! The machined brass bezel and the back door opens and closes properly, tight, and secure as they should. This Seth Thomas #266 Sonora Chime model is equipped with the larger 8-Sonora patented resonated bells resting in a bell chamber below the base, features a silent chime lever and a switch lever from Westminster to Whittington chime. The original pendulum bob and a proper sized two-sided key come with the clock.

Being a model that is not seen often, makes this fine rare clock very desirable and highly sought after. Every aspect of this clock is fully functional.
