Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Beehive Style Clock In Good Running Condition. Here is a nice looking hour and half hour time and strike clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston, Conn.
USA, nearly 100 year ago. This model features a signed Seth Thomas #89 movement is in good running and gonging order. It counts out each hour, i. 1 gong at 1:00, 2 gongs at 2:00, etc. On an antique cathedral style gong and announces each half hour with a single toll. The case is in very nice aged condition. It was refinished at one time so is very nice looking. With the lighter finish it show off some of the beautiful wood grain that had been hidden by a darker finish.It's been a while so there are once again some minor signs of wear associated with age and normal use. The solid brass bezel and silvered dial assembly is also in very good condition. The original silvered dial shows signs of wear, age and shading, but is really in nice looking and in keeping with the age of the clock. The case measures 8" wide x 10" high x 6 ¼ deep.
It comes complete with the pendulum and key. This helps ensure that the new owner will have a satisfying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem.All sales are final (with the exception noted below). It is nearly impossible to find one in "mint" condition.
