Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Time and Strike Book Shelf Clock In Running Condition. This nice looking clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston, Conn. This model features a signed Seth Thomas #89 movement which has been cleaned and serviced and is in good running and gonging order. It counts out each hour, i. 1 gong at 1:00, 2 gongs at 2:00, etc.

On an antique cathedral style gong, and announces each half hour with a single bell toll. The case is made from solid hardwood which may have been given a fresh top coat at one time to preserve the original finish.

It measures 8 1/4" wide x 9 1/2" high x 5 3/4 deep. The original signed Seth Thomas celluloid dial has some nice age staining that gives it a genuine antique appearance. It comes complete with a key and the original boy on a fence pendulum.

This helps ensure that the new owner will have a satisfying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem.
