Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Time and Strike Clock Serviced & Running. Here is a neat looking clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston, Conn. This model features a signed Seth Thomas #89 movement which has been cleaned and serviced and is in good running and gonging order. It counts out each hour, i. 1 gong at 1:00, 2 gongs at 2:00, etc.
On an antique cathedral style gong and announces each half hour with a single toll. The case is in nice condition. It has a newer "antiqued" dark worn off over light finish that would fit nicely in many settings. The silvered dial is in good condition. It has some minor age staining and light scratching, but is in nice shape for its age. The case measures 19 ½" wide x 9 ¼" high x 6 deep. It comes complete with the original pendulum and a key that fits. This helps insure that the new owner will have a satifying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem. All sales are final, (with the exception noted below).It is nearly impossible to find one in "mint" condition. If a clock has damage from misuse, it will be noted. If a clock is running properly when it arrives...
