Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantle Clock 8 Day Time & Strike. FIRST: This item is an antique! It is over 100 years old and has all the usual signs of 100+ years of use. It has been disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and tested. It is keeping very good time. The adamantine finish has been polished with a high-quality paste wax to restore much of its original shine. The finish is in good condition considering that it is 100+ years old! The brass bezel, glass, and hands all appear original as well as the dial. The key may be a replacement.
It is an eight-day time and strike, counting the hours and the half-hour on a nice cathedral gong. The movement is the Seth Thomas 89AD and is in good condition. It includes a pendulum bob. Check out the pictures as they are part of the description.
