Antique Seth Thomas Garfield Walnut Weight Clock Case Only Ca. This is a very nice antique Ca.

1885 Seth Thomas Garfield walnut weight clock case only with key to lock door. It is in excellent overall condition and measures 29 1/2" tall x 16" wide x 6 3/4 deep. There is a label on the inside top of the door stating this case was restored by Herbert Hatcher, Kenton, Ohio.

I tried to locate this person to get info and apparently, he passed away about 10 years ago. The restoration included making new feet that are similar but not exactly like the original ones. The mounting holes in the back from the original weight movement and gong were also filled in. The glass has the faint outline of an eagle on it. It is definitely old glass as it has a waviness when viewed from the side so is probably original.
