Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Working SETH THOMAS Victorian Adamantine Mantel Shelf Clock, made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company Thomaston Conn.

It has an Ornate Footed Victorian Adamantine Case with Black Ebony Adamantine Veneer with Brown Marbled Adamantine Accents, Footed with Lion's Paw Feet, and Bronze Nouveau Figural Column on Each Side, With Bronze Lion Head Side Handles. The Original Label is on the Back. The Dial is the Original Ornate Brass Dial with Arabic Style Numerals and Decorative Designs and Bezel in High Relief. It has a Seth Thomas Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime That Strikes Correctly. The Movement is Very Clean, and is signed "ST".

There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Correct Heavy Adjustable Pendulum. 16 1/2" Wide x 11 1/4" Tall x 6 3/4 Deep.
