Very Nice Antique Seth Thomas Texel Model 8-Day Time and Strike Adamantine Mantel Clock Circa 1905 Working Well. This is a very nice antique Seth Thomas 8-day time and strike circa 1905 Adamantine mantel clock. The model name is "Texel" and it features a black onyx finish with lovely, etched. Capped side columns, brass lion's head handles, ornate brass dial and bezel and ornate feet.

It has a colorful brown marbleized Adamantine finish on the top, side columns and above and below the columns. It measures 16 1/2" wide including the feet, 6 1/2" deep and 11 tall.

It runs well and strikes a gong at the top of the hour with the correct number of hours and once at the bottom of the hour. The condition overall is very good. The Adamantine finish is nice with only a small chip on the top (see photo) which is not really that noticeable. The key and adjustable pendulum bob is included.

The original movement has the Seth Thomas logo and there is a partial worn label on the back. You will not be disappointed in this fine antique clock.
