Vintage Seth Thomas Sons & Co. Figural Mantel Clock Not Running No Key. Torquato Tasso was an Italian poet of the 16th century.
Unable to test - no key. Arm on back of movement was moving back and forth on its own. I do not see how the weight is supposed to hang off the movement arm.
It becomes too long when placed on the movement arm to fit in the case. Gong and back plate are all included. Small chip on edge of crystal face cover - see photo. Back of movement stamped # 7717. Second hand center section left only - missing pointer.
