Offering a antique 8 day Seth Thomas mantle clock with the Westminster chimes. The clock is 20 and 1/2 inches wide, 10 inches tall and 6 inches deep. The clock movement has been cleaned and tested so is in good operating condition for both time and chime functions.
The movement is marked as Seth Thomas and model 124. The clock plays the Westminster melody at each quarter hour and then also counts the number of the hour on the hour. The wood case is very solid, has original finish and is in good condition. The dial is metal, carries the Seth Thomas name and is in good condition. The glass over the dial is beveled and in good shape.Both the front bezel over the dial and the rear door operate correctly. Both the pendulum and the key appear to be original to the clock. There is a Seth Thomas sticker on the bottom that states "Chime 91".
