Antiques, Fine Art & Collectibles. Early Antique WW1 Era Seth Thomas Deck Clock Brass US Navy WWII USN Ceramic Face. DESCRIPTION Authentic working World War I era antique ships deck clock made for the U. Navy by the Seth Thomas clock company.
The white enamel dial is marked SETH THOMAS in the top center. The winding mechanism is accessed in the front at the Roman numeral number 4. This is a rare and old clock which is very heavy. This clock has a classic flared ships clock bezel which lifts off when the button is depressed from the main body of the clock. This would attach to a mounting bracket piece of wood via the two holes on the back flange. Currently working well and although the key is missing it can be wound up using a number 6 key which was used to test it. This item has recently been serviced and tested. This would make a great birthday gift, man cave gift or housewarming gift or WW1 Naval clock collection. MEASUREMENTS Clock measures 6.5" in diameter by 2.5" deep and weighs 6lb 4oz. CONDITION In good condition and ready to display (please see all photographs for the description). Yesteryear Essentials is a local, independent family run antiques store in Los Angeles, CA.
