Original Antique Seth Thomas Half Column Clock Weight Driven Running
Seth Thomas Half Column Case ca. We were told that this clock is original. With columns on both sides. Is in very good condition with very very little veneer loss (see pictures).
It looks to have been well maintained over the years. Original Seth Thomas label is in good condition, still intact on the inside the clock. The old glass is a;sp in very good condition with no cracks or chips. The lower part of the door's reversed painting has some paint loss.
Painted metal dial has the maker mark of Seth Thomas, has minor paint loss, which is common for a clock of this age. There are weights that are cylinder shaped and made of cast iron that are going down each side of the case to power the clock.This is a key wound brass movement 30 hour clock, that is striking on the hours on a coiled gong. If properly maintained, this clock will only go up in value. Approximate dimensions are 25 "tall, 15" wide and a depth of 4 1/2. The pictures are also part of the description.
