Here I have the pleasure to present you... A Pistachio Seth Thomas so Beautiful... As if it were timewarped from 1931. Painstakingly restored before I acquired it... It's original color is truly mesmerizing..

As are all the original colors of Catalin.. Catalin was called "The Jewel of Plastics" in it's day.. Bright, Deep, Gorgeous Jewel-like Colors....

A far cry from the drab browns of regular phenolic "Bakelite". And in a restored example such as this.. This color exemplifies the Seth Thomas Catalin Alarm Clock's status as a true Deco work of art.. The clock has No chips, No damage, and it runs...

It even has the little pull-out knob for the alarm... Which many seem to be missing after all this time.

I love these clocks for their individual character.. No 2 are exactly alike, as the possible combination of colors and patterns during production are endless. Have a 36 hour movement , and. Needed to be re-wound daily at bedtime, or upon rising..

If used regulary, they should be serviced/oiled every 2-3 years. To accept, or reject any damaged parcel...
