The clock is in overall nice, vintage condition with some scratches and tarnish as photos show. It could use a good cleaning. The glass and face are in excellent condition. The clock keeps good time and the ships time chime works, but from my research the chime is off one-half hour. So when it should be striking 3 times it strikes 4, when it should be striking 4 times it strokes five and so on.

I dont know how to make an adjustment so I will leave that to the lucky new owner. The front face screws off and on smoothly. The clock measures approximately 8 ¾ inches from one edge of the ships wheel to the other. I believe the clock is made of brass. This is a nice one collectors!
