1915 Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantel Clock Rescued & Restored

  
Here we have a 1915 Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantel Clock. The clock movement is the 89AD 8 day movement which was produced starting in 1915 until sometime in the 1920's. The bottom of the clock is stamped 1915 (see pictures). The clock movement was fully disassembled, cleaned & the necessary repairs were made. It runs well & keeps accurate time. Strikes once on the half hour & the number of hours on the hour. The leather on the hammer was replaced, so it has a soft tone. The clock measures 11 1/2" high, 16" wide & 6 1/2 deep. The case has some damage & repairs from age.

The bottom front has damage to the adamantine finish. It is a very honest clock & full of character.
